Fenders Down & The Big Wake

Crossing close on the bow of another boat and throwing large wake seems to be a trait of large power boats.  This trait has been debated by my friends for some time, were these people born rude?  Do they work at not being courteous to their fellow boaters?  A legal note on large wake, you are responsible for any damage caused by your wake.

Palastal  which is owned (according to the CG)  by Jerome R. Baruffi, DDS a dentist in the Southcenter / Tukwila area.  Dr. Jerome R. Baruffi, DDS  made the mistake of crossing the bow of some friends boat while Palastal was throwing up a big wake, the bad news was that my friends had their camera and got these pictures of Dr. Baruffi’s boat.  Poor form doctor.

In defense of Dr Baruffi, my friends said he was not as bad as some of the “little blasters and the big egos” of many powerboats. He was just the worst photographed. . .

Running with your fenders down is a major social crime on the water.  However you do entertain your fellow boaters and from time to time will get pictures of your boat posted to the internet.

One of the Good Guys, showing low wake and no fenders, if you know them say Thanks on behalf of my friends.
